Annapolis Valley

This fall, members of the Shelter Movers community are gearing up to support the Nova Scotia chapter by running in the Blue Nose races on November 6-7, 2021.

This group of hobby and competitive runners have been challenged to raise $10,000. At an internal cost of $200 per move, our hope is that we can move an additional 50 families to safety as they transition to a life free of violence.

This year we extended our services to the Annapolis Valley. To celebrate our newest extension, 50% of the funds raised through our Blue Nose campaign will be directed to communities in Kings County, Annapolis County, and West Hants County.

Shelter Movers Annapolis Valley Extension

We’re pleased to announce that we launched our Annapolis Valley extension!

The Nova Scotia chapter of Shelter Movers has been growing rapidly since we launched in 2019. Since then, we’ve been able to extend our services to the South Shore and now we will be serving Kings County, Annapolis County, and West Hants County. With our newest extension, we will be serving over 60% of the Nova Scotian population.
