TORONTO, March 13, 2018 /insPRESS/ – On March 8, 2018, Strigberger Brown Armstrong LLP hosted its launch party in Toronto’s Distillery District. In coordination with their partnership charity Shelter Movers, the firm’s lawyers and staff took the opportunity to celebrate International Women’s Day and introduce themselves to the industry.
“The event was amazing,” said Lisa Armstrong, managing partner, “the support from our clients and team is overwhelming and I really can’t thank them enough.”
In a brief speech to the crowd, Ms. Armstrong highlighted the firm’s continued commitment to doing things differently. With a focus on firm lawyers collaborating as a team, rather than competing, the firm delivers on their promise of practical, efficient, and cost effective legal services.
SBA lawyers with Shelter Movers (and donuts)
With the support of its industry partners, the firm hosted a raffle to raise funds for its partner charity, Shelter Movers. The registered charity provides free moving services for women and children leaving dangerous and abusive environments and transitioning them to new safe and stable homes. Through the guests’ generosity, the raffle raised enough money to fund six additional moves.
Members of several large insurers and industry vendors praised the event and the enthusiasm the new firm was bringing to the field. Unsurprisingly, a donut wall featuring treats in the firm’s and Shelter Movers’ distinctive blue ombré colour scheme received its fair share of compliments.
